ESSA Focus Group Interest
With the passage of the Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA), the Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education is seeking interested individuals to provide feedback on several items related to the development of the State’s Consolidated Plan. Work groups can expect to meet three times (via webinar or in person). 21st Century Community Learning Centers Call for Grant Readers
The Office of Quality Schools, Extended Learning Section is seeking qualified grant readers to read, evaluate, and score the competitive grant proposals for the 21st Century Community Learning Centers Program (21st CCLC) during the week of June 7-10, 2016 at the Lodge of the Four Seasons, Lake Ozark, MO. 1003(g) School Improvement Grant (SIG) Waiver Notice Request for Comments - FY 2015 and FY 2016
The Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education is requesting waivers of the period of availability for the FY 2015 and FY 2016 funds for the 1003(g) School Improvement Grant (SIG) program. Proper Use of the New MAP Assessment in Gifted Programs
Many school districts have been accustomed to using the Terra Nova section of the Missouri Assessment Program (MAP) as part of their screening and/or placement process for state approved gifted programs.
