2024 - Special Education Director Academy
The Special Education Director Academy (SEDA) is hosted by the Office of Special Education. SEDA is July 24-26, 2024, at the Stoney Creek Hotel, 2601 S Providence Road in Columbia,Missouri. Sessions will run from 10:00 a.m. Wednesday to 2:30 p.m. Friday. Session topics include leadership, early childhood special education, dispute resolution, discipline, postsecondary transition, data reporting and use, special education program requirements, and more.

Special Education Virtual Support Meetings
The Office of Special Education is collaborating with Special Education Consultants from the nine Missouri Regional Professional Development Centers to provide twice-monthly Zoom meetings. The meetings are scheduled to last one hour, from nine to ten a.m., and will cover a range of timely and relevant topics for special education professionals.
