In Missouri, local school districts (LEAs) are required to establish rules for student conduct. These rules apply to behavior on school property, including the parking lot, playground, bus, and during school-sponsored activities.
Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) requires specific procedures in discipline for students with disabilities.
