Administrative Memos are used to transmit information related to the policies or administration of programs coordinated by the Department of Elementary and Seconday Education. In addition to being posted in this section, these memos may be distributed via e-mail or the postal service to the appropriate points of contact for specific programs.
Special Education Fiscal Training for K-12 Cooperatives
This training will provide NEW guidance for districts/LEAs participating in a Special Education Cooperative for K-12 students. Topics will include invoicing/payments, funding sources, budgeting and coding expenditures, and reporting expenditures and revenue. All districts/LEAs, both member districts and fiscal agents, participating in or considering participation in a K-12 cooperative are strongly encouraged to attend this training due to recent changes in federal guidance. The Superintendent, Special Education Director, and Bookkeeper are all welcome to attend the training together.
