MSSD “Get the Lead Out” Test Results

Lead Drinking Water Test Information

The Missouri General Assembly passed the Get the Lead Out of School Drinking Water Act (Section 160.077, RSMo), which sets standards for lead concentration in school drinking water. Schools are required to test all drinking water outlets (e.g. water fountains, faucets, and taps used to dispense water for drinking, cooking, or cleaning utensils used for cooking or eating) to determine the concentration of lead found in the samples from each outlet.
