The purpose of this foundational workgroup is to ensure that DESE and Local Education Agencies (LEAs) have access to accurate, timely, and comprehensive data to inform decision-making, evaluate program effectiveness, and support the continuous improvement outlined in all priority areas of the strategic plan. This includes establishing robust data governance, infrastructure, and analytical capacity across the state.
