Afterschool Enrichment Grant
The Afterschool Enrichment competitive grant application for school-age afterschool programming is now available. Awards are subject to funding. Programs must be operational by January 15, 2024. Awarded funding will expire June 30, 2024. Any currently funded afterschool program or any new entity may apply. However, all local education agencies (LEAs), charter schools, OR child care programs as defined in Section 210.201, RSMo., must be licensed under Section 210.221, RSMo. at the time of application. Those that are unlicensed and contracted with the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE) subsidy program at the time of application are eligible to apply for the Afterschool Enrichment grant opportunity. The child care program must remain licensed under Section 210.221, RSMo., or if unlicensed, must remain contracted with the DESE subsidy program. Deadline to apply is December 6, 2023, at 1:00 p.m.
