Quality Assurance Report
Quality Assurance Report (QAR) is a system designed to recognize the unique aspects of quality in early learning and education programs throughout the State of Missouri. Participation in QAR is voluntary and includes community-based early learning programs, school-based preschool programs, and family child care. Programs are given choice in how quality practices are demonstrated and families are provided with consumer education about the quality of early learning programs.
- Who is eligible for QAR?
To ensure children have access to the benefits of high-quality early childhood care and education, OOC is committed to supporting all interested programs in improving the quality of their offerings.
Eligible programs include:
- Local Education Agencies
- Licensed child care programs (family child care, group homes, and centers)
- Exempt or license exempt child care programs contracted to accept child care subsidy
- What services are provided?
Participating programs receive:
- Coaching to support quality teaching practices and goals
- CLASS assessments, reflection, and feedback
- Support information and resources through myTeachstone
- QAR CDA Opportunities (coming soon)
