If you suspect child abuse, neglect, or exploitation at a child care facility in Missouri, contact the Child Abuse and Neglect Hotline at 1-800-392-3738.

How to Report a Health or Safety Concern/Complaint:

Complaints made on child care programs will be reviewed to determine if an investigation is needed.

Once it has been determined that a complaint needs to be investigated, it is assigned to a local Compliance Inspector or the child care subsidy team for investigation. Depending on the seriousness of a substantiated (determined to be rule or contract violations) complaint, the facility may be referred for possible legal action.
