- Becoming a Teacher - This site is a great place to start if you are interested in becoming certified as a Missouri educator.
- 2-year Institutions offering education coursework/ Associate of Arts in Teaching (AAT) degrees: These are high-quality, cost-effective places to start your teacher preparation before transferring to a four-year institution to earn your bachelor's degree.
- Approved Educator Preparation Programs leading to certification : These programs are authorized to offer coursework and to recommend candidates for certification. You can start at one of these, or start at a 2-year institution and then transfer. If you are interested in a particular institution, click on the institution's link to find out which programs that institution offers.
