Early Childhood State Advisory Council

The Missouri Early Childhood State Advisory Council (ECSAC) brings together parents, educators, and leaders to shape the future of Missouri’s early childhood programs. The ECSAC serves as a collaborative communication structure for state agencies on critical initiatives—such as the Child Care Development Fund and First Steps—to ensure they effectively serve Missouri families. Our quarterly meetings are open to the public and time is reserved at meetings to hear from the public. The ECSAC invites you to share the success and challenges your family or program is facing so we can help in an action-oriented and collaborative manner shape the programs and services for Missouri’s youngest citizens.

Comments shared with the Council will be highlighted at our quarterly meetings. To protect the privacy of those we serve, please do not include identifying information for children or other parties. We cannot provide individual replies, but your feedback is essential for highlighting the needs and concerns of our community.

Feel free to pass this information along to other groups or interested parties. By working together, we can positively impact early care and education in Missouri.
