IDEA Special Education Fiscal Monitoring Regional Trainings

The Special Education Finance Section is pleased to announce regional trainings related to IDEA fiscal monitoring.  Each session will cover pertinent fiscal accountability requirements, specific examples of these requirements, monitoring questions used to determine compliance, and corrective actions necessary to meet IDEA fiscal compliance. Each participant will receive a printed, bound copy of the new Special Education Fiscal Monitoring Guide.  The trainings will be offered from 11:30am-3:30pm at the locations listed below. All districts are welcome to attend.  However, districts completing self-assessments (Cohort 1) or receiving on-site visits (Cohort 3 and notified by email) in 2014-15 are strongly encouraged to participate in order to prepare for the upcoming monitoring.

To register, please complete the registration form below and email to [email protected].  For questions, contact Leslie Turpin at [email protected]
