The statewide Top 10 by 20 Missouri Proud initiative is well underway, and the Department has a monthly electronic newsletter to keep Missourians informed about Missouri public education and the state's progress toward becoming a top 10 state nationwide by 2020. The Department is on social networking websites Facebook, Twitter and YouTube. These communications channels will allow the Department to tap into now essential and commonly used methods for sharing information and engaging with the public.

Individuals can "like" the Department on Facebook, follow the department on Twitter @MOEducation and the Commissioner of Education @MOCommissioner, and view videos on YouTube.
