Early Learning

The Early Learning Section is responsible for overseeing the department’s efforts to expand and improve early learning opportunities for children and providing supports for teachers, programs, parents and families of young children. Staff administers the Child Care Development Fund Grant, Missouri Preschool Program and Parents as Teachers Program. The office is also responsible for the development of early learning standards.
