Alternate Assessment: Guidance for IEP Teams

This webinar focuses on participation of students with disabilities in both state and district alternate assessments. A new training video detailing the factors that must be considered in determining if a student is eligible to participate in the alternate assessments as well as how to document the decision on the IEP for compliance with IDEA are shared. In addition, new resources for parents and districts are introduced including a flowchart, checklist and guidance document. This is followed by a question and answer session.

This webinar provides information for directors of special education, special education process coordinators, special and general education teachers, school counselors, district testing coordinators, school administrators, parents and advocates.
