Afterschool Meal Program
Many states across the country have successfully implemented the Afterschool Meal Program and are seeing great results. This webinar discusses the need for healthy afterschool meals and the importance of enrichment programs for children in low-income “at-risk” areas.
All organizations & schools should view this webinar who provide afterschool programming; and
- Have at least 25% of enrolled children’s care paid through Title XX funds; and
- Have at least 50% of the enrolled children are certified as eligible to receive free or reduced-price school lunches.
This webinar is presented by Christine Woody, Missouri Association for Social Welfare (MASW); Ann McCormack, Department of Health & Senior Services; Leah Schmidt, Hickman Mills School District; and Signe Anderson, Food Research and Action Council.
