Subject: REMINDER: Mid-year Activity Reports for the Special Education Improvement Grants

Districts that are operating Special Education Improvement Grant projects funded by the Office of Special Education have a Mid-year Activity Report due by Monday, December 17.  The report is submitted through IMACs and instructions on how to fill out the report and submit it can be found at

Expenditures reported for the grant should only be for what has been expended thus far.  The remainder of the expenditures will be reported and paid from the End of Year Activity Report.  It is important that this report is filled out correctly and accurately as it is used as the invoice to reimburse districts.  All funds must be obligated by March 30, 2013, and expended by April 30, 2013.
