Reminder: High Need Fund applications are due November 30, 2013.

The HNF provides reimbursement for districts serving any student with a disability whose educational costs exceed three times the district's Current Expenditure per ADA amount as calculated on the FY13 Annual Secretary of the Board Report (ASBR).  The FY14 High Need Fund (HNF) application and manual are available on the Special Education Finance webpage at    This is an OPTIONAL application.

Applications for services provided during the 2012-13 school year must be submitted electronically via email as an attachment to by November 30, 2013, to be eligible for reimbursement.  Applications will auto fill data based on the county district code selected; however, districts must still enter student information and applicable costs.  Districts will be sent a receipt confirmation by email.  Please keep this email for your records. 

Please note students should NOT be claimed on both the HNF and Public Placement Fund applications in the same year.
