The 20th Annual Missouri Interpreters Conference is October 18-20, 2013, at Tan-Tar-A Resort, Osage Beach, Missouri.  This year’s conference emphasizes a track specific to educational interpreting.  Paula Browning, a national presenter, will host the Educational Interpreting track.  Click the link to read more about Paula:

The Educational Interpreter track may include ten hours of training; “Situational Ethics and the Classroom, I Don’t Think That Means What You Think It Means” these workshops are geared specifically to those who work in the educational arena.  Interpreters are required to earn 1.2 CEUs annually to fulfill their certification requirements.  There are several other workshops including “K-12 Interpreters and the IEP” and “The Interpreter’s Guild" by Paula Browning.
