In conjunction with October being Disability History and Awareness Month, the Missouri Interagency Transition Team (MITT) is launching the Transition Resource Website. This site is hosted by the Governor's Council on Disability and is a one-stop resource for transition services for students preparing for life after high school.
Five categories have been identified on this site for ease of use: Health, Education, Post-Secondary Education and Employment Assistance, Advocacy and Protection Services, and Independent Living. The links on the site have brief descriptions of services provided by each agency.
Please share the following link with parents, students, and anyone working with students with disabilities as they prepare for post-secondary transition: http://disability.mo.gov/MITT.htm.
