Missouri School for the Deaf (MSD) offers free consultation services to help all Missouri public school districts meet the needs of students (PK-12) that are deaf or hard of hearing whether or not they have cochlear implants, hearing aids, and/or FM Systems. Service delivery is individualized but might include information on device functioning, speech and auditory development, educational development, modes of communication, etc.
MSD offers the collaborative, daily consultation services Monday-Friday 8:00 a.m.-4:30 p.m. .Consultation services may be via phone, email, office visits, or when necessary visits to school districts for observation. The school district may also include parents in the consultations. These and other services are available to all public school districts in the state of Missouri.
