The 2011-12 Part B FER is due on or before September 30, 2012.  The FER grid should include expenditures for all payments through September 30, 2012, that had to be obligated prior to June 30, 2012.  For step-by-step instructions on completing and submitting the FY12 Part B FER, please review the ePeGs Final Expenditure Report Training Guide FY12 located at

Remaining unexpended Part B funds from the FY12 grant may be carried over and expended in 2012-13.  However, in order for carry-over funds to appear in 2012-13, the district must amend their 2012-13 budget application once the FER is approved.  Please note that Maintenance of Effort (MOE) for 2011-12 may only include expenditures from July 1, 2011, through June 30, 2012.  Please be sure the FY12 Part B FER is accurate and accounts for all special education expenditures before it is submitted as there will be no FY12 Part B FER revisions allowed unless there is an audit/monitoring finding or an error in the ePeGs system that directly affects the FERs.
