Intended Audience: Schools interested in preparing a video on inclusion of students with disabilities

The Missouri Developmental Disabilities Council announced a competitive project open to Missouri Schools (K-12). Schools are invited to create a video showcasing the inclusion of students with disabilities in both their school and community. Two winners will be selected. The Grand Prize winner will receive $2,000 and the honorable mention winner will receive $999 to further the inclusion efforts/practices in their school. Winners may purchase voice recognition software, adaptive equipment, assistive technology devices, smart boards, curricula, or other resources promoting inclusion, etc. The outstanding videos will be announced on November 7, 2012, and will be featured on You Tube and as a part of the Council's face book page. Entries are due by 4:00 p.m. on October 26, 2012.
