A free workshop on "When You Have A Student With A Visual Impairment" will be presented by Anthony Blades, Blindness Skills Specialist, on Friday, September 27, 2013, from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. (lunch on your own) at Truman State University, 100 E. Normal, Kirksville, MO.  This workshop will focus on the unique aspects of educating students who have visual impairments and the role of the regular education teacher and paraprofessional.  Topics covered include low vision devices, assessment procedures, and Braille.

The workshop is free but you must register to attend.
