Attention: Missouri Community Transition Team training applications are available for the 2012-13 Cohort.  Missouri Community Transition Team (CTT) Program (Pending Funding)

The Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education and the Transition Coalition are pleased to announce funding to support the formation of nine Community Transition Teams across Missouri.  The application may be accessed at: http://dese.mo.gov/se/ep/documents/se-ep-CTTapplication.pdf.

Applications to participate in the 2012-13 Missouri Community Transition Team training are being accepted now.  If chosen, Community Transition Teams will participate in three fully funded 2-day trainings on the following dates: October 9-10, 2012; November 14-15, 2012; and March 6-7, 2013.  Funding for these three trainings will support travel costs to Jefferson City for up to six team members, hotel rooms, meals, and school personnel substitutes.

To be considered for the Missouri Community Transition Team training, please complete and return the application to Dr. Pattie Noonan at pnoonan@ku.edu or fax to Dr. Pattie Noonan at 785-864-6421.  Applications must be submitted by August 3, 2012, for consideration.  Teams will be notified by August 24, 2012, regardless of acceptance.

Note, at the DESE Summer Transition Institute, Community Transition Teams (CTT) from across Missouri will be hosting a CTT Gallery Walk on June 25, 2012, at 10:30 a.m. to 11:45 a.m.  Location: Capitol Plaza Hotel Lobby in Jefferson City.  This will be an opportunity to visit with active CTT representatives.
