Missouri State University, Blindness Skills Specialist Project, is offering an informational and demonstrative workshop on August 6, 2013, from 9:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. at Missouri State University, Park Central Office Building, Room 112 (located at South Avenue and McDaniel Street in Springfield) presented by Aundrayah Shermer, Blindness Skills Specialist, Missouri State University.  The workshop will provide information for classroom teachers, special educators, and paraprofessionals that will focus on the unique aspects of educating students who have visual impairments and the role of the regular education teacher, vision teacher, and paraprofessional.   

The workshop is free but you MUST register to attend.  There will be a working lunch.  You MUST bring a sack lunch (no lunch provided).

To register, email your name, phone number, school district, and position to ashermer@missouristate.edu by July 31, 2013.  A confirmation will be emailed to you at the email you register with.  The confirmation email provides parking and location information.  Please register using your summer email address.
