The Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (Department) and the KU Transition Coalition are recruiting new Missouri Transition Liaisons pending funding for 2012-2013 school year.

Missouri Transition Liaisons devote time and energy to improve transition education and services in Missouri through increased communication and collaboration with the Regional Professional Development Centers, Transition Coalition, and the Department. Liaisons develop a collaborative group of colleagues who provide input into statewide guidance documents and forms, review professional development trainings and resources, collaborate with other transition liaisons, RPDC Consultants, Transition Coalition, and the Department.

This is a voluntary position.  Expenses for attending training will be paid through a stipend. There is no compensation for a liaison position.
