Subject: Free workshop on the Paraprofessional in the Role of Intervener for a Student with Combined Vision and Hearing Loss

Intended Audience:  Paraprofessionals, teachers, administrators, and parents of students with combined vision and hearing losses

Date: January 16, 2014

Missouri Deafblind Technical Assistance Project based at Missouri School for the Blind is sponsoring a one-day workshop at no charge for participants to provide information on the importance of individualized supports for a student with deafblindness, the roles of the support staff, and the importance of specialized staff training to support the student.  The workshop will be held Tuesday, April 22, 2014, at the Stoney Creek Inn, Columbia, Missouri from 8:30 a.m. until 3:30 p.m.
