Effective July 1, 2011 :
New guidance and instructions for mileage reimbursement for providers delivering direct services to First Steps children and families is now available on the web under Provider Mileage Forms at:
http://dese.mo.gov/divspeced/FirstSteps/ProviderInfo.html
Additionally, a new Daily Mileage Log has been posted on the website, along with the current Monthly Mileage Invoice.
This information provides clarification on the requirements for recording mileage, submitting invoices, and supporting documentation that must be maintained when submitting a claim for First Steps mileage.
NOTE: Mileage will continue to be reimbursed at the rate of $.47/mile for providers delivering direct services to First Steps children and families.
