In collaboration with the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education,
Central Institute will host several workshops in the following locations:
FOR PROVIDERS
- Cape Girardeau, Missouri (February 4, 2011): Early Intervention for Children with Hearing Impairment A to Z.
- Macon, Missouri (April 1, 2011): Early Intervention for Children with Hearing Impairment A to Z.
FOR SPOE / SERVICE COORDINATORS
- Cape Girardeau, Missouri (February 3, 2011): Early Intervention Lite
- Macon, Missouri (March 31, 2011): Early Intervention Lite
These workshops are designed to provide a spectrum of information to providers; from a general overview of best practices in early intervention in deaf education, to interpreting audiologic test results, to problem-solving strategies to ensure positive outcomes.
