This message is being sent to remind System Point of Entry (SPOE) contractors, Service Coordinators, and early intervention (EI) service providers that the Part C Compliance Standards and Indicators, updated October 22, 2008, are available at the following link:

The only changes made to the document were:
1) Removing any citations regarding the Department of Mental Health (DMH) since they no longer provide First Steps service coordination; and
2) For the SPOE to assume responsibility for assuring early intervention services are provided in accordance with the Individualized Family Services Plan (Indicator 3000.1360).
