The First Steps Parent's Rights brochure has been revised to include more detailed information from the Part C Federal and State Regulations.  The additional content was added based upon a requested review and recommendations by the Office of Special Education Programs (OSEP).

The new document is available on our web site at /divspeced/Compliance/Part-C/Parental-Rights.pdf.  The previous tri-fold colored brochure format has been changed to this 8 1/2 X 11 black and white format in order to make it easier and more cost effective to print.

SPOEs and independent service coordinators are being contacted in a separate message regarding requirements for dissemination and instructions for ordering quantities of the revised Parental Rights document.
