Last month districts received a First Steps informational packet which included a First Steps Transition DVD.
Feedback from those who reviewed the video indicated there are three areas of clarification of Missouri's requirements related to First Steps Transition to Early Childhood Special Education (ECSE). Go to http://dese.mo.gov/divspeced/FirstSteps/ for a clarification to these areas. Please print this document and include it in the transition informational packet in your office.
