In the Matter of: and Parkway C-2 School District and Special School District of St. Louis County (SSD)
ORDER
Counsel for the school district has filed a Motion to Dismiss the due process hearing based on the fact that the student is no longer a resident of St. Louis County, Missouri and has not been enrolled in the school district this current school year. The student moved to Columbia, South Carolina. The school district cites Thompson v. Board of Special School District #1 (MPLS), 144 F.3d 574 (8th Cir. 1998).
In the Grant of Extension of Time this tribunal requested that the parent contact the panel to determine whether or not the due process hearing was requested, however, the panel did not receive a response to that request.
After due consideration the Motion for Dismissal is granted.
