Subject: FY09 Public Placement Fund Application Now Available

The FY09 Public Placement Fund (PPF) application and other supporting documentation has been posted on the Funds Management webpage at http://www.dese.mo.gov/divspeced/Finance/PPFindex.html. The application will be due January 31, 2009, for services provided during the 2007-08 school year. Applications must be saved, printed, signed, and mailed to the Division.
The Public Placement Fund (PPF) provides reimbursement for districts educating non-domicile students, both IEP and non-IEP, placed within the district by Children's Services (CD)/Division of Family Services (DFS), the Department of Mental Health (DMH), Division of Youth Services (DYS), or a court of competent jurisdiction. Funding is available when the educational costs of these students exceed the revenues received by the serving district. For questions, please contact the Funds Management Section at (573)
