The FY11 Public Placement Fund (PPF) application and other supporting documentation have been posted on the Funds Management webpage at  The application is due January 31, 2011, for services provided during the 2009-10 school year.  Applications must be saved, printed, signed, and mailed to the Department, postmarked by January 31, 2011.

The Public Placement Fund (PPF) provides reimbursement for districts educating non-domicile students, both IEP and non-IEP, placed within the district by the Children's Division (CD)/Division of Family Services (DFS), the Department of Mental Health (DMH), Division of Youth Services (DYS), or a court of competent jurisdiction.  Funding is available when the educational costs of these students exceed the revenues received by the serving district.  For questions, please contact the Special Education Finance Section at (573) 751-0622 or by email at
