The Department of Elementary and Secondary Education in collaboration with
the University of Missouri Center for Positive Behavior Support
(PBS) announces the development of a new website:
http://pbismissouri.org/. This site provides technical and historical
information describing the School-wide Positive Behavior Support
(SW-PBS) initiative in Missouri. Contact and participatory information are
available. Resource links regarding implementation and research-base are
provided. Users will find links to national PBS websites
http://www.pbis.org/main.htm and http://www.apbs.org/main.htm as well as
Missouri district PBS websites
http://www.columbia.k12.mo.us/staffdev/CPSPBS/ and
http://pbiscompendium.ssd.k12.mo.us/. Missouri's exemplary PBS
buildings, along with the required bronze, silver, or gold level
implementation criteria, and the application for next year's recognition can
be located at this website. Please become familiar with this valuable
resource.
