The 2005-2006 ECSE Expenditure Reports have been initialized and are ready
for districts to complete. A detailed help document has been posted on the
Funds Management website at:
http://dese.mo.gov/divspeced/Finance/index.html (click on "Early
Childhood Special Ed." under the "Fast Find A-Z list").
The due date for the ECSE Expenditure Report is November 17, 2006.
Districts who submit an approvable Expenditure Report by the deadline will
receive their first live payment in December 2006.
ECSE is paid from a combination of state and federal funds. The percentage
of state and federal funds will vary each fiscal year. Our
FY07 ECSE state appropriation is $96 million and the final state and federal
percentages cannot be determined until all ECSE Expenditure Reports are
approved.
