Subject: Post-Secondary Transition Assessment Training

Date: October 14, 2008

Transition Assessment Training focusing on how to assess students for interests, needs, and preferences as a part of the post-secondary transition plan will be held on December 2, 2008, at the Double Tree Hotel, 422 Monroe Street, Jefferson City, MO, 573-636-5101 in the Magnolia Room.  This free training will be conducted by The Transition Coalition at the University of Kansas, in conjunction with the Special Education Effective Practices Section and the RPDC Special Education Consultants.  Registration will begin at 9:00 a.m. with training beginning at 10:00 a.m. and concluding at 12:30 a.m.  Continental breakfast will be provided.  All other expenses will be incurred by your district.  Enrollment is on a first come first serve basis and numbers are limited.  A block of rooms has been reserved at the Double Tree.
