A workshop on Assistive Technology for Students Who Are Blind/Visually Impaired will be held Tuesday, November 18, 2008, 8:30 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. at the University of Missouri, Columbia, #2 London Hall. This workshop, presented by Blindness Skills Specialist Jan DeHart, will provide an overview of current technologies available for students who are blind/visually impaired. Participants will also learn how to administer an assistive technology assessment.
Cost for this workshop is $65 per person. Cancellation for the workshop is required five days prior to the event. No-shows will be charged the full price of the workshop; however, school districts may substitute pre-registrations without penalty.
