The National Dissemination Center for Children with Disabilities
(NICHCY) has released two new issues of Evidence for Education:
Effective Mathematics Instruction and Social Skills Achievement. These two issues compliment the previous issues Assessment and Accommodations and The Power of Strategy Instruction. Materials can be viewed and downloaded at www.nichcy.org/Research/EvidenceForEducation/Pages/default.aspx.
These materials are designed to address topics of immediate relevance to those concerned with the challenge of providing effective academic and behavioral instruction which results in positive outcomes for children with disabilities. Each issue includes a review of the best available scientific research evidence supporting academic and behavioral interventions, well researched and practical examples of the topics, and connections to more detailed resources.
