The Division of Career Education has developed a Guidance Digest as a way of disseminating information that can be used by counselors and others to assist students in their educational and career planning.
The district designates a person to act as contact and places that name along with contact information on Screen 03 of Core Data. That listing is used to develop the distribution lists of contacts to which the Digest is sent. We will continue to send the Digest to a contact in each public school district in the state and, in addition, to others who have requested to be included.
District Guidance contacts are requested to, after receipt of the Digest, forward it to all professional school counselors, placement personnel, career and technical school counselors, and administrators at all levels throughout their district. In addition, please forward it to anyone else you feel would profit from the information.
