Trainings for administering the Missouri Assessment Program Alternate

(MAP-A) (to students with the most severe cognitive disabilities) are currently being held through the Regional Professional Development Centers for the 2006-2007 edition of the assessment. There are several significant changes to the MAP-A for the coming year and it is important that all teachers who will administer the assessment be trained on the updated version. The training this year is a direct training model and not a "train-the-trainer" model as was used last year. Therefore, any teacher who will administer the MAP-A needs to attend a training session. For information on training dates and locations, please call your regional RPDC office.
