The Department has continued funding the Missouri Deaf Educator Community of Practice (CoP).  This on-line community of practice is an innovative way to connect professionals serving deaf and hard of hearing children in Missouri to receive peer support and resources.  The CoP website includes:

The CoP is a work in progress and is a dynamic resource, depending on participation to be successful.  We hope this website will be a place you can go to share your ideas, what activities you are doing, and to receive support from other professionals.  Join us as we create one community with the goal of better serving deaf and hard of hearing children in Missouri!

To join the DHH CoP, go to: http://campus.elearningmo.org.  No enrollment key is required for this CoP (Course).  IF you do not have an account, use the directions on the right hand side of the window to create an account following the prompts.  When the list of courses becomes visible select the Deaf Educator Community of Practice.  When prompted, say YES and you are registered.  IF you have registered at eLearning for Educators previously, use your existing username and password to login.  When the opening screen appears, there will be a box on the left hand side of the window entitled "My Courses," click on All Courses and select the CoP.  When prompted, say YES and you are registered.  E-Learning for Educators will send an email to you to confirm your identity for security purposes.  For help accessing the CoP email elearning@missouri.edu.
