This one and a half hour TeleTraining is designed to share information about PEPNet's free online Transition Curriculum. iTransition is a series of four, free e-Learning transition modules created by PEPNet to assist middle school, high school, and first-year college students with their successful transition from high school to college or work. These modules were designed for students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing, ages
14 through adult, but are also applicable to students with other disabilities.
PEPNet is a center funded by the U. S. Department of Education focusing on kids who are Deaf and Hard of Hearing.
To register for the TeleTraining, go to http://www.pepnet.org/itransition.asp. After registering online, you will be sent the long distance phone number and conference access code approximately one week prior to the TeleTraining. Please note that the number you are calling is not toll free. There is no registration cost to attend, however, you will accrue long distance fees.
Individuals needing sign language interpreters to access the TeleTraining can call into the conference through the video relay service provider of their choice. Remote Captioning Services will also be available for Deaf and Hard of Hearing participants.
