FY10 Part B Final Expenditure Report (FER) The FY10 Part B Final Expenditure Report (FER) is expected to be available for data entry Wednesday, June 23 and due Friday, July 30. If your district has a Proportionate Share obligation, please note that these funds have been divided between regular IDEA and ARRA IDEA.
Reported expenditures should reflect this division of funds. The Office of Special Education has created a step-by-step training guide to assist districts with completing the FER. The training guide is located at:
FY11 Preliminary Allocations
The preliminary FY11 IDEA Part B Entitlement allocations will be posted by Wednesday, June 23. Please visit the Special Education Funds Management website next Wednesday to view your district's FY11 allocation at:
FY11 Part B Budget Application
The Part B Budget Application for FY11 is expected to be available for data entry Wednesday, June 23 and due Friday, July 9. Again, districts should refer to the step-by-step training guide for assistance in completing the application. FERs do NOT have to be submitted in order to submit a budget application. Applications submitted by July 9 will be backdated and substantially approved as of July 1. Applications received after July 9 will not be backdated, meaning districts cannot obligate Part B funds prior to the date they submit an application.
