Intended Audience:  Educational Interpreters for the Hearing Impaired

The Southwest Missouri State University and the RSA Region 7 Interpreting Partnership will host a mini-conference for Educational Interpreters June 24-25, 2005, in Fulton, Missouri.

 

This skill workshop will include topics such as:

• Interpreting vs. Transliterating

• SCI License Complaint Process

• Discourse Mapping

• Vocabulary

• Sign to Voice Interpreting

 

Registration can be made through the Missouri Commission for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing at (573) 526-5205 (V/TTY).

 

All attendees must be prepaid and pre-registered.  Registration costs are $30 Friday only, $40 Saturday only, and $50 Friday and Saturday.
