Subject: Autism/ASD/Scholarships for On-line Course, Into Adulthood: Transition to Work for Individuals with Autism

We will fund up to 60 scholarships for teachers, counselors, and administrators from public school districts to participate in the online course, Into Adulthood: Transition to Work for Individuals with Autism.
This course is offered by Virginia Commonwealth University's Rehabilitation Research and Training Center on Workplace Supports and Job Retention July 19, 2010 - August 30, 2010. Participants will gain an in-depth understanding of transition planning for youth with Autism.

Administrators may submit names and e-mail addresses of teachers/counselors/staff they wish to recommend by July 7, 2010, to webreplyspeep@dese.mo.gov. Please be sure to include the school district name.
