Various trainings for Special Education Directors will begin in August 2005.  The trainings will be held across multiple locations, dates, and venues.

 

August 8-10, 2005, Jefferson City - New Directors' Training on Funds, Data, and Compliance.  It is appropriate to bring your finance officer or core data staff member to the Funds and Data sessions with you.  Finance officers can also receive training at the April 2005 MOASBO meeting and during sessions on Tuesday of the Special Education Administrator's Conference in fall 2005.

 

The Summer Institute will present basic information in the areas of special education data collection and analysis, compliance requirements, funds management, and effective instructional practices.  The information provided can be used by Special Education Directors in the management of special education processes to promote improved outcomes for students with disabilities.  Also, if space permits, the director may bring a financial officer or core data person for the funds and/or data sessions.  Guidelines and registration procedures can be found at: http://server1.tekdevelopment.com/~cmstest/index.php?id=497.
