The Missouri Transition Liaison Program was developed and funded by DESE in 2007 to improve transition education and services in the State of Missouri by identifying local high performing district-level transition coordinators, secondary special education teachers, and work study coordinators across Missouri. Currently, twenty Missouri Transition Liaisons communicate regularly and meet three times a year to network, share information, plan trainings, and plan statewide transition activities.
The Missouri Transition Liaisons have developed an electronic newsletter describing transition activities, accomplishments, and best practices.
The newsletter can be accessed online at the Missouri Community of Practice http://www.missouritransition.org website in "New Resources" with your login and password or by clicking directly on the following link: http://transitioncoalition.org/Missouri_Transition_TIMES_Spring_10_4.pdf.
